Andrew
Notes: Andrew is an absolutely stunning 1 1/2 year old male who originally came to the humane society in Tucson with his brother, Jackson, when they were just 8 mos old. Andrew is the Dal on the left in the picture of the brothers. They were originally adopted out together, but returned after an ugly divorce. When they were returned, Andrew got adopted out again to another new family, while Jackson was left behind. Jackson then came to our rescue a month ago, and has since been adopted out to a happy home. We thought Andrew was in a happy home down in Tucson, but we were called last week with the news that Andrew was returned once again - because the wife was pregnant. First a divorce, now a pregnancy...forcing the dogs to be homeless. Such a sad situation!! Why does divorce or pregnancy mean the dog has to go??? To most people, the dog is a part of the family - not a disposable transient. Well, Andrew is quite a looker....he is tall and has a larger frame than the average Dal. He has long legs and runs like a gazelle! He's friendly, affectionate with people, good with other dogs and rides great in a car. He is also crate - trained and quiet in the house. He has a fun personality and is eager to please. UPDATE: Andrew's foster mom reports he is a perfect gentleman in the house, totally housebroken and very well-behaved. He is active and playful and likes to run in the yard with his foster sisters. This pet is eligible for a gift of the first month of ShelterCare pet insurance paid for by Petfinder.com [Click] |
