My name is Nash and I am handsome and lean like that basketball guy. Here is the play of the day -- I need a forever family who will love me and let me be part of a home with good people. I’ve had a tough go of it. I was one of 40 dogs kept by a hoarder who died. That was really, really rough because there was not enough love for all of us and I just gave up - a lot of us gave up because there was no hope of anything being different.

Day after day, year after year in an outside kennel with no change or fun.

Then, everything changed! I was rescued, loved back to life and am now thriving in a foster home with only three other dogs! The transformation has been amazing and I am the happiest, most grateful dog you are ever gonna meet! I am living the happy, carefree, loving life that dogs are meant to live!

I am an incredible boy...full of life and happiness! I am gentle, sweet and a great listener. I love, love, love to go on walks and be petted. I will share any of your snacks and watch whatever television programs you like.

I get along great with everyone....dogs, kids and humans. Probably better not have any rabbits though as I love to chase them! Hey, I'm a Labrador retriever!! And along those lines, I also enjoy water....do you have a pool??? Not essential of course but certainly a nice perk.

I am house trained, use the doggy dog and have no bad habits! Your treasures are safe with me. I bark only when necessary (door bell rings) and my loyalty is immeasurable. I will sleep on a soft bed by your big bed and hardly ever snore.

Here are some facts you might want to know about me. I am a pure bred male yellow lab; 73 pounds; about 8-9 years young with no know health problems. I have been neutered, had all my shots, de-wormed (even though I didn't have any), had my teeth cleaned AND have a microchip and a new blue collar. My adoption fee is $125. My love is PRICELESS!

My mission in life is simple -- love and be loved. That is all I want (along with a soft bed and good food and lots of petting). I am very easy going and while I enjoy being near you, I am not a clingy butt like some little yappy dogs. You probably have met some of those useless 'trick dogs' -- well, that is not me. Even though I am very, very smart, my big talent is unconditional love and I have plenty for you!

Until now, I never did know that people could be so loving and that I could love them back. Every single day I learn something new. I will be a great companion to you and your family, keep you company and listen to your stories! I am a way different dog than when I was rescued...or maybe I am finally who I was always meant to be! I am a tail wagging happy dog now!

My foster Mom Sandi told me that I am her 19th foster dog and about the sweetest dog she has EVER met! I have a beautiful white face and the most soul searching eyes (with perfect eyeliner) you can imagine....you can see for yourself when we meet!

Remember, my name is Nash.....but you could call me 'your boy'.
