History

Sweet, Marvelous Myla is a beautiful 3 year old gray and white husky that loves to lay around with you and is very affectionate! She loves to give the most gentle kisses and get belly, head and ear rubs. She does well with dogs her size and loves to be in a group of dogs! She also loves going on walks. As a typical husky, Myla has a strong prey drive so small animals such as birds, cats, small dogs, ducks, rabbits, etc., are not recommended but she does well with children over 5 years old.

Myla has some separation anxiety when left alone but is less anxious when there are other dogs in the household. She does fantastic in the kennel and goes in there when told. Ideally, a family with 2 or more medium to large size dogs would be best for Myla as she is currently thriving with her foster family that has 4 other male huskies.
Here is a list of some of Myla’s characteristics:
1. Very well-mannered
2. Walks well on a leash
3. Not food or toy aggressive
4. Takes treats gently from your hand
5. Very food/treat motivated
6. Knows sit, down, stay and wait. Also has manners at the table and stays down until told otherwise and sits before getting her meals.

Myla also loves toys that squeak or crinkle, loves bully sticks, and bones. She also loves the water! Her energy level is moderate but can be playful throughout the day when she wants to play with her husky friends. She loves belonging in a group of dogs and wants to always be included. Myla will howl to tell you she wants to go outside or when she wants some treats or food.

Myla is looking for a husky-savvy family who can add her to their pack and continue to cuddle with her, give her daily walks, love, attention, stimulation, and good nutrition. She also requires a yard with a minimum of 6 ft secured fencing due to her prey drive. Myla is microchipped and up to date on vaccines and is spayed. Her adoption fee is $400. Minimum adoption age is 25 and no apartments/condos.
