Nellie's story: I have had Nellie for a little over 2 years. She was tied to the side of the animal hospital where I work and left there. I took her and boarded her at Elite boarding kennels for several months while trying to find her a home. I received an excellent application for her and I adopted her to the home. They called after 1 week and no longer wanted her (dog is a commitment, etc, no fault of hers). I took her back, but due to the cost of boarding and the fact that she is such an easy, good dog, I brought her home. I have continued to passively look for a home for her. She is basic obedience trained, house trained, likes other dogs, no cats.
