Notes: Rusty is a 2 yr old purebred red tick coonhound, and he is such a wonderful, well-behaved dog. He spent nearly a month at a local county shelter, and then went on the euthanasia list for space reasons - to make room for more dogs coming in. That's when we stepped in to save him on his last day! So glad we did because his foster Mom reports him to be a great dog!

Rusty is housebroken, affectionate, fairly calm for a youngn and super sweet. He knows sit for a cookie and is quite eager to please. He LOVES the company of other dogs and hasn't met a person he hasn't liked yet, including children. He has great house manners and will make a really special companion!
